Each student will have a 3-Ring Binder, called the G.A.M.E. binder (Gather Assignments and Managing Everything). This binder MUST go home every day and come to school every day. Inside this binder there is an agenda/planner. Most days your child will reflect on his/her days and record this in the agenda/planner. We will also ask your child to set some weekly goals. Please feel free to ask your child to show you his/her binder. Our fabulous PTO purchased them for us!
Fourth grade students are expected to read approximately 20-30 minutes every night. I know it may not happen every single night but please encourage your child to read as often as possible. There is a great deal of research to support this healthy habit!

All paperwork and school notices can be found in the students’ G.A.M.E binder. Any corrected papers can also be found here. Students often need reminders to “clean” out this folder. If it’s not corrected, chances are it wasn’t passed in or we have not corrected it yet. Please remind your child to clean out his/her folder...this is his/her responsibility!
